Maharishi have released a few extremely limited jackets from Dr Romanelli’s new ‘Surgical Strike’ collection.

Inspired by his love of vintage military garments, Romanelli has taken a wide range of iconic uniform pieces from several countries and reimagined them as high-end luxury apparel far removed from their original utilitarian purposes.

Romanelli was able to inherit the vibrant voice of these military garments and make them his own. In typical DRx style, he combined the finest leather, buttons, zippers, and other accoutrements to blend with the raw fatigues. This dichotomy served to make a stunning garment that displays postmodernism at its finest; a perfect mix of high and low culture.

Each of these Dr Romanelli creations is a genuine one off, unique individually hand altered custom piece and comes with a prescription from the good doctor detailing the original vintage pieces used.

Available from Maharishi now, with prices ranging from £800 ($1595) to £1000 ($1995).
